What is the age range for your classes?
At Arts Edge, we cater to a wide range of ages. We offer classes for students as young as 5 all the way up to adults. We believe in nurturing talent at all stages of life. The majority of our students are high school students and adults, however, we are constantly looking to improve our offering and provide more classes.

Are your classes suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! Our classes are designed to cater to all skill levels. We have introductory courses for beginners where they can learn the basics and foundational skills in a supportive and fun environment.
We also offer a range of workshops where students can focus on developing their skills further. Whether their passion is singing, acting or dancing, we are here to nurture the unique talents of each student.
Do you offer private lessons in addition to group classes?
Yes, we do! While our group classes are a great way for students to interact and learn from each other, we also offer private lessons and mentoring for more focused, individualized instruction.

What styles of dance do you teach at Arts Edge?
At Arts Edge, we strive to offer a diverse range of dance and performance classes to cater to all interests and skill levels. Our classes currently include Pop Ballet, Theatre Dance, Intro to Theater Performance, and Beginners Tap, each designed for different age groups and experience levels. Each class is crafted to not only teach the fundamentals of the respective dance style or theatre, but also to instill confidence in our students. Whether you’re looking for introductory or advanced level classes, Arts Edge has a class to fit your needs.
How does your performing arts program help build confidence?
Our performing arts programs are designed to encourage self-expression and creativity. Through performing in front of others and receiving positive feedback, our students naturally become more confident, on stage and in their personal lives. Do you offer any singing or acting classes?
Yes, we offer both singing and acting classes. Our instructors are experienced in the performing arts and can guide students in honing their vocal technique, stage presence, and acting skills.
What qualifications do your instructors hold?
Our instructors are experienced professionals with backgrounds in the performing arts. They hold qualifications from prestigious institutions and have performed on Broadway and West End stages. Their knowledge and experience ensure a high-quality learning experience for our students, combined with great passion and a love for seeing our students succeed.
What is the student-to-teacher ratio in your classes?
We aim to keep our class sizes small to ensure each student receives the personal attention they deserve. Typically, our classes don’t exceed 15 students at a time.

How can I register my child for a class at Arts Edge?
You can register your child for our classes easily through our website. Simply select the class pass that suits you and drop into any of our group classes. Alternatively, you can call us directly and our friendly team will be happy to assist you with booking in. For students new to Arts Edge, we also offer a free trial class, so they can get a feel for our studio first.
What should my child wear for dance classes?
Comfortable, form-fitting dancewear is recommended for our dance classes. This can include leotards, tights, dance shorts, or fitted tank tops. No fancy gear required. Check out our class pages for specific suggestions for each class.
What if my child has never taken a performing arts class before?
That’s completely fine! We have classes designed for absolute beginners where our expert instructors will teach foundational skills in a nurturing, fun, and supportive environment.
How do you handle different skill levels in your classes?
We group our students by both age and skill level to ensure everyone is learning at a pace that’s right for them. In each group, our experienced instructors are adept at tailoring instruction to meet individual student’s needs.
Do you provide feedback to parents about their child’s progress?
Absolutely! We believe in regular communication with our students and their parents. Our instructors provide ongoing feedback, and we work closely with you to develop your child’s unique talents and uncover their performing edge.
